Emma's Easter Party

Nothin' better than a Peep S'mores!

Marty is standing guard over the jelly bean sorting station! LOL.  He was the dumper of jelly beans once the kids had sorted and filled the buckets.

Emma was beyond thrilled that her Daddy got to come to this party.  These two have planned this for months and her teacher said she has been talking about it for weeks.  Many times we don't know the party day until its too late to reschedule patients. This particular party we asked Emma's teacher very early on and as soon as it was scheduled, Marty blocked out his whole morning for his little girl.  And I got a lunch date out of it.  Yay!

Daddy and his girl!

A few snowflakes didn't deter our Easter egg hunt

Emma waiting on the "Go!"

Mass chaos but oh so much fun!

Emma and her friend Summer are counting their eggs. Every kid could find fourteen.

After the party Emma's teacher showed the parents some movies she had filmed of the kids with an iPad app.  One was Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  Emma was Goldilocks and it was hysterical.  These movies look professional--they are so cute and they have credits at the end just like a real movie. The kids think they are the best. Another was on manners and character. Each kid was demonstrating a different character trait.  It was awesome.
I am so impressed with this school at every party.  These teachers pour their hearts and souls into these kids.  Emma has been loved and cared for, nutured and inspired this year.  I couldn't have asked for a better kindergarten year for her.  I get teary eyed just thinking about the year ending.  I have treasured it!
